October 12, 2007 - CASA Makes Headlines Regarding Pro-Amnesty Mayor!!
Mayor Tom Selders Hides From His Pro-Amnesty, Pro-Illegals Position

October 12, Greeley, Colorado  - A firestorm has erupted over a letter mailed to Greeley residents informing them about Mayor Tom Selders' pro-"Shamnesty", anti-ICE (the federal law enforcement arm Immigration and Customs Enforcement) views.

"I wish I could take back what Tom Selders did, but I can't," CASA representative Dan Reed said. "Selders took a trip to Washington to
stump for the Amnesty Bill this past summer. That's outrageous." Reed continued, "Worse yet, the trip was paid for by a radical pro-illegal immigration group, and dragged the city Greeley into this mess. We have a strong membership in the city, and this is not what the people of this town want to be known for."

The letter included a likeness of a "check" drawn on the account of the taxpayer recipient, demonstrating the amount of money each Colorado family pays to support the illegal aliens to whom pro-Amnesty politicians so desperately pander. Selders also passively resisted the idea of an ICE office coming to Greeley, which Weld County law enforcement officials strongly support due to illegal aliens helping drive crime, gang activity, and jail overcrowding.

Friday, Selders couldn't deny the charges in the letter, so he tried to dodge his role in the $1.5 million dollar cuts proposed in Greeley City Council meetings in May.

"The graffiti is on the wall," said Reed, "If you're for unchecked illegal immigration, your career in politics may come to the same miserable end as last summer's 'Shamnesty' bill."

JUNE 28, 2007 - This Battle is Won, but the War is Not Over!!

Thanks to CASA Activists and millions of Americans, THE "SHAMNESTY" BILL WAS BEAT BACK...FOR NOW (BUT SENATE LEADERS PROMISE TO RESURRECT IT AGAIN!!!)

June 28, Washington  -Immediately after the defeat of the "Shamnesty" bill on the floor of the U.S. Senate today, Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) revealed the agenda of the Open-Borders-Lobby on this issue. "It's not a matter of if, but when" the Senate would again resurrect a re-packaged  Immigration Reform Bill. Kennedy referred to this Senate session as "only half over." Key backers, including President Bush and Senators Kennedy and McCain insist that such a bill provide Amnesty for 20+ illegal aliens.

CASA is committed to KILLING any bill which contains any of the objectionable provisions that caused the defeat of S. 1639.

November 2006

CASA's Candidate Survey Program instrumental in ELECTORAL VICTORY FOR REFORMIST CANDIDATES!!!

In major upsets, pro-immigration reform candidates wiped out weak-kneed Republican incumbents and  challengers who refused to  back a strong immigration reform platform.

GENERAL ELECTION HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Two Pro-Reform Newcomers who won Primaries against entrenched incumbents went on to WIN in the General Election.
  • 100% Pro-Reform Challenger Mike Kopp blew away Democrat Paula Noonan's suspicious $250,000+ self-funded campaign. Noonan REFUSED CASA's Certified Survey.
  • 100% Pro-Reform Challenger Scott Renfroe handily beat Solomon Little Owl for the SD-13 seat in Greeley. Little Owl REFUSED CASA's Certified Survey.
  • 100% Pro-Reform Challenger walked away from Democrat Karen Teja in Colorado Springs. Teja REFUSED CASA's Certified Survey.

August 9, 2006 - PRIMARY DAY UPDATE!!!

CASAPAC - our organization's Political Action Wing - is proud to announce A PERFECT RECORD!!!

CASAPAC-supportedcandidates won every single targeted primary, including Senate District
22, where the #1 enemy of reform among Republicans (vacancy-appointed Senator Kiki Traylor) was defeated by reformer Mike
Kopp. Kopp won with the support of grassroots CASA members, despite Governor Owens and RINOs from across Colorado contributing $30,000 MORE to Traylor, who was also helped by several liberal 527's.

Other Primary Senate Victories included Scott Renfroe (R-Greeley) over long-time incumbent Dale Hall and Rep. Ted Harvey (R-Highlands Ranch) over Mark Baisley.

Congratulations
to all those candidates, and CASAPAC looks forward to the general
election, where we will be informing voters on who should win - and who
should lose - because of their support or lack of support on
immigration reform.

Our Mission:

CASA is a Colorado grassroots organization of concerned citizens from across the U.S. who demand real border security and immigration reform.

CASA's mission is to hold candidates accountable for their stance on immigration.

"Victory
or defeat at the polls is what politicians understand best, and that is
CASAPAC’s native language.” - Executive Director Chrisann Reese.
